When Will You Visit The Summer Isles Hotel?

The original building was constructed around 1860 as a fishing inn. It has expanded over the years with the addition of wings and extra buildings.

Please feel free to browse through our bedrooms below. All can be set-up as “twins” with the exception of The Chaplin, Irvine and main bedroom in the Log House.

Newsflash!

New in 2020 will be “The Garvie” – a deluxe bedroom suite with wonderful sea views. It includes a separate snug room with a wood burner to keep cosy when the weather conditions are a little “dreich”.

The Garvie will have a bedroom with large double bed that can be turned into twin beds. In the bathroom will be a walk-in shower and the snug will have a sofa and flat screen TV.

The Garvie will be located in the same cottage that currently houses the “ever-popular” Boat House. Our talented architect has made good use of two empty rooms plus a small part of the sitting room from The Boat House to create The Garvie. The “spin-off” benefit for The Boat House is a new bathroom, new flooring and total ground-floor redecoration for the 2020 season. In fact, we have decided that The Boat House will be re-named The Ben Mor to avoid confusion and to mark the extensive improvements made.

Nine of our bedrooms have utterly beautiful views over the sea and across to the Summer Isles with the hills of Wester Ross in the background.
