When Will You Visit The Summer Isles Hotel?
The original building was constructed around 1860 as a fishing inn. It has expanded over the years with the addition of wings and extra buildings.
Please feel free to browse through our bedrooms below. All can be set up as “twins” with the exception of The Chaplin, Irvine, Garvie and main bedroom in the Log House.
Sea View Rooms
Ten of our bedrooms have utterly beautiful views over the sea and across to the Summer Isles with the hills of Wester Ross in the background.

This traditional Scandinavian log house is perfect for families with two-bedrooms, a large sitting room with wood-burner and a small kitchen area. Stunning views out over the kitchen garden and beyond to the Summer Isles

A wonderful new suite that was completed in Spring 2020. It has a cosy sitting room with exposed stone walls, oak floor, a wood-burner and fabulous sea-views. The bathroom has a large walk-in shower and the bedroom has a king size double bed.
Formerly the Boat House and now renamed since a major upgrade in Spring 2020 with new entrance, bathroom (with bath and separate shower) and oak flooring. This deluxe suite has a large sitting room with wood-burner and a spiral staircase to the bedroom. Views are spectacular.
Located in the main building with wonderful sea views. The Study is above our bar but incorporates plenty of sound insulation!
Non-Sea-View Rooms
We have four non-sea view rooms which are all comfy and spacious. Three are in our eco log cabin which is a few metres only from the main building and the fourth is situated at the rear of the main building

Dog Friendly
Most dogs thoroughly enjoy a few days in Achiltibuie!
Ten of our bedrooms are dog friendly with bowls and rugs provided upon arrival.
Dogs are welcome in the bar as long as they are on best behaviour!
