Fine Dining At The Summer Isles Hotel
The Summer Isles Hotel has for many decades been a “destination” hotel. The main reason for our guests coming here, and returning year after year, is the food and wine served and enjoyed each night in the restaurant. Most of our guests are passionate about food and they know that we are too!
We have prided ourselves for many years on our wine list. Our wine merchants, Corney & Barrow, have been supplying the hotel for over 25 years.
The list features wine from around the globe but has a particularly fine selection of French Bordeaux and Burgundy. Our house wines have been selected with great care and some imagination as we are keen to provide our guests with a choice of wines that is a little different during their visit. Prices range from £30 to approximately £400.
The Summer Isles Restaurant offers all guests a fine dining experience. The menu is a three course table d’hote choice menu featuring ingredients reflecting local seasonal produce. If you haven’t booked a room at the hotel and you’d simply like to visit for dinner, the Menu is available for you and you can make your table reservation by telephone.
Wherever possible, we try to use local suppliers for the produce used in each recipe. Of course, when it comes to seafood, this is easy! The seafood such as the scallops and the lobster come from the waters you can see from the hotel restaurant.
